Addressing the Clean Label movement

Whether you work in the food industry, food service, butchery or nutrition, clear labelling gives you a way of rethinking food and regaining consumers’ trust. This is major when it comes to developing new food products and applications. The Clean and Clear Label movement now encompasses the complete supply chain, from farm to fork, with cleaner ingredients, cleaner formulations and cleaner processes throughout sourcing, manufacturing and shipping. The movement takes an individual look at issues including animal welfare, the use of antibiotics, breeding conditions, GMOs, organic labelling, additives, preservatives and artificial colouring. Another important aspect is caring for the planet.
